This sock design was inspired by the Kuba cloth - a one of a kind fabric which has its origin from the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sometimes called the “raffia cloth,” the Kuba textile is traditionally woven from the fiber extracted from Raffia palm leaves.
